- Overall Impression: This was the resort my family stayed at for my very first trip 40 years ago! While I had dined here many times since then, I hadn’t booked a stay. In my mind THIS is Disney’s flagship resort. It just feels so alive. The jaw dropping concourse enclosed in a majestic tower becomes more magical when the monorail passes quietly through. Large well appointed rooms are super quiet and I love to wander around the back of the resort facing Bay Lake and rent a SeaRaycer. It brings back memories of that first Disney trip. Great dining choices, fantastic shops and a view that just can’t be beat. Not to mention, a quick walk to Magic Kingdom!

- Overall Impression: We have stayed there multiple times and have never had an issue with the resort staff. I do miss the personnel touches that used to be left in our room from disney mousekeeping, but the mousekeepers were very nice and seem to do a good job. We always stay in the wing because the elevators in the tower can be challenging with the crowds at times, whereas in the wing that is not an issue. The only issue I had on our last stay was the WIFI. it was sporadic at best. Now our room was on the first floor of the wing and as far away from the tower as one could get. Now the room location was great for relaxing on the patio by the water after a long day in the parks, but the walk getting to the room from the monorail or bus stop seems very loooong when your all walked out from the days adventures! There is a small parking lot in front of the wing that shortens the walk if you have a car, which is nice, and it is much shorter of a walk that if you must park in the parking lot out front for guests whom are staying in the tower. Over all I prefer this resort over others on property due mostly to being within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, viewing the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the resort without having to deal with the crowds, multiple restaurant choices and the solitude of the 1st floor rooms in the wing that are closest to the passage between Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.

- Overall Impression: There is nowhere in the world I would visit as often as I have WDW! When our sons were growing up, we came every- other year. When my wife and I wanted to celebrate our 49th anniversary with family, we knew WDW was where we’d go! THAT was THE most perfect trip we’ve ever had! Disney CMs made it so!
And, as we reach our upper. 60’s, we noticed a LOT of people our age and older. They must agree, too!
Now...if you’d just bring back the Main Street Electrical Parade! Things would be ‘perfect’!??
One last thing: I was pleased to see so many ‘ guest relations’ CMs in the various parks. I’m happy Disney Corp. seeks to make sure the guests are pleased with their experience!

Our rooms were well appointed and any small problems we had were quickly rectified. Watching the electric water parade from our balcony was lovely and our daughter was thrilled every time the monorail pulled into the hotel.

- Overall Impression: Super clean & quiet. My son has sensory processing disorder & this resort was quiet & calm. We needed to find a resort that was not over stimulating after our park days.
It’s also super convenient to walk to Magic Kingdom. If my son was overwhelmed, he could easily walk to our room.
The Wave is the best buffet deal. The food is great. I was also surprised at the excellent quality of the Contemporary Cafe quick service.

- Overall Impression: It was very nice. No problems. We were in the Garden Wing, so there was a bit of a walk between the main lobby and our room. If your goal if to spend as much time at the Magic Kingdom as possible, then this would be a great fit. However, we spent more of our time at Epcot and Animal Kingdom, so we only utilized the walk way to MK a few times. Also, to get to and from Epcot and the Monorail resorts can be a bit of a pain. There are no buses to Epcot, you need to take a Monorail to the TTC and get another Monorail to Epcot. Monorail lines can get very long, and not just at park close. I don't think we would stay here again. We could have saved some money and stayed at a moderate or a value or stayed at a Epcot area deluxe resort and got our moneys worth with the walkway or boat to Epcot.

You do not get the feeling that you can ever get away from the business. It seems like the staff does not particularly enjoy their jobs. Spent so much time in assistance lines with a group of 13 waiting for me. This and all the room problems.
