At Disney Springs you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season. Window shopping takes on a whole new meaning as you enjoy the wonderful holiday displays celebrating traditions from different cultures.
Christmas Tree Stroll
At Disney Springs, Christmas and holiday cheer can be found around every corner. The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll brings elaborately decorated Disney Christmas trees to the neighborhoods throughout Disney Springs. Each of the twinkling trees will be themed to personify beloved Disney characters, stories and celebrations.
This complimentary activity map can be picked up at participating locations throughout Disney Springs including: City Works Eatery & Pour House, Planet Hollywood, LEGO, Joffrey's Coffee and Tea, and Crystal Arts.
Santa’s Winter Watercade
In late November, Santa and Mrs. Claus will pack their winter wear as they plan to soak up the last bit of Florida sun before their big night. Keep an eye out this season on the waters of Lake Buena Vista where you might spot them waving and sending season’s greetings from afar in a festive and colorfully-decorated pontoon boat.
For guests who wish to have a visit with Santa, a virtual queue is typically in place at Once Upon A Toy.
Guests can use the My Disney Experience app to enter the virtual queue; a standby queue will not be available, so be sure to plan in advance. There will be a few requirements to make your reservation, with a handful of opportunities to enter the virtual queue throughout the day; these include 9 am, noon, 3 pm, and 6 pm.
Important Information:
- Guests must be at Disney Springs to enter the virtual queue.
- One group member will receive a push notification directly to their mobile device when their group is ready to return. This push notification will also present a link to a digital entry code. If you cannot find your digital entry code, you can locate it by going to the 3-line hamburger icon in the app (☰) and selecting “Virtual Queues.”
- There is a maximum party size of 10 people.
Entertainment
Outdoor DJs play holiday music at the Waterside Stage and at Exposition Park across from Disney’s Candy Cauldron during the day to get guests in the spirt of the season.
In the evening, stilt-walking toy soldiers, skating snowflakes and a snowfall (intermittently at Town Center and West Side) add a touch of magic for holiday shoppers.
