This fan-favorite event returns to Magic Kingdom this fall, complete with the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus casting their wicked spells across the park! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place 38 select nights from August 9 through October 31, 2024 from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can purchase these special event tickets early beginning May 8, 2024! All other Guests may purchase tickets beginning May 15, 2024.

Guests are given trick-or-treat bags to be used at the candy stations found throughout the park. Locations will be indicated on the event map.

Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or could detract from the experience of other Guests. We have a list of the Costume Guidelines below.

2024 Dates / Times

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will run on select nights from August 9 through October 31, 2024. Ticket sales information is listed below.

HOURS: The event will be held on 38 select nights this fall, beginning on August 9th and continuing through October 31st. The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Ticketholders will be allowed to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. on event nights. These date-specific event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or theme park reservation. Purchase tickets here to save up to $8.

• AUGUST: 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30, 2024

• SEPTEMBER: 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29, 2024

• OCTOBER: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31, 2024

2023 Ticket Prices

Tickets can be ordered online, by calling (407) 939-4240 or through your Dreams Unlimited Travel Specialist as part of your package/room reservation.

Tickets for 2024 will range from $119 – $199 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $10 discount on select event nights that will be shown on the calendar where you purchase your tickets.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Activities

Trick-or-Treating

Guests are given trick-or-treat bags to be used at the candy stations found throughout the Magic Kingdom. The 2024 trick-or-treat locations are listed below. Some cast members will give more than others, but there's no limit to how many times you can go back to the same location for more.

• Market Street Welcome Trick-or-Treating (open until 8:00 PM)
• Tortuga Tavern
• Tom Sawyer Island Dock
• Gaston’s Tavern
• Near TRON Lightcycle / Run
• Princess Fairytale Hall

Special Dietary Needs Including Allergies

Guests with food allergies can get a special teal treat bag that will designate them as having an allergy (teal is the color that represents food allergy awareness). These bags can be picked up at any of the trick-or-treat locations. When you trick-or-treat with your teal bag, cast members will give you a teal token at each treat station. Later on, you can redeem your teal tokens at the allergy-friendly treats (hosted by the Safe + Fair Food Company) can be found at the Liberty Square Ticket Office (available until midnight) and Chamber of Commerce (available until 12:30 AM).

Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

The Haunted Mansion portion of the parade highlights the addition of the Ghost Bride, who mingles with the ever-present spooks and spirits. There is also a Tomorrowland addition to the parade that features The Incredibles and beloved designer Edna Mode, followed by Buzz Lightyear and alien explorers who have set out for new discovery on a planetary playset float.

TIP: The second parade is often much less crowded.

For an even sweeter evening, you can indulge in a wickedly delicious Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party held at Tomorrowland Terrace. This festive addition lets you sip and snack on mouthwatering Halloween-themed concoctions (all you care to enjoy), including Pumpkin Cupcakes with frosting, Chocolate-covered Strawberries, Cheesecake Mousse with chocolate crumble topping and crisp pearls, and Pistachio White Chocolate Crunch Bar striped with purple chocolate and sprinkled with orange sanding sugar. Dessert party ticket-holders have guaranteed viewing for “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” as well. Be sure to book this one online, as it fills quickly with witches, sorcerers, and treat-lovers alike.

PhotoPass Magic Shots

Take advantage of having festive additions added to your photographs, including Magic Shots and more!

Your photos will be adorned with special effects to make hauntingly happy Halloween keepsakes. You can also add a sprinkle of pixie dust by taking a Magic Shot, which adds Disney Characters to your Disney PhotoPass photos after they’ve been taken. Ask photographers about the boo-tiful surprises they are able to add to your pictures.

Costume Guidelines

• For all Guests:
  • Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or could detract from the experience of other Guests.
  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
  • Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, the park unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.
• For Guests ages 13 and under:
  • Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.
• For Guests ages 14 and older:
  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g., full-length Princess dresses)
  • Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable.
  • Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
  • Masks of any kind may not be worn.
